Son and I are settled overlooking 20 acre pasture. Not 1 minute in the stand and had a buck run by. Don't know if we scared him walking in or what but he was in a hurry.

Making a quick sit this morning to see if any luck can come my way. 30-06 with me ready to bark. Sitting over a small clearing surrounded by woods with main trail on the far end 75 yds away. Tall 10lt that is my targets running buddy returned yesterday. Hoping big boy isn't far behind. I did hear a loud grunt 5 minutes ago to my south. See what happens

Picked this stand up Thursday for $85 and unloaded it here that night. Not sure how it will work but worth a try.
