I've been in the blind since 6 am this morning with my little hunting buddy. Last year I didnt get to bow hunt much because he was only 4 and wants to come with me everytime I go so I couldn't tell him no, so we sat in my rifle blind almost all last season but we did get my nicest buck and a coyote last year (avitar pic). Well this year I bought us a pop up and we have been hunting out of it and hes done good so we are going to bow hunt as much as we can this year. After morning hunt today I'm going to build a platform for our pop up to get us off the ground (I hate being on the same level as animals I'm hunting, I feel like I have a better advantage being elevated). And I'm also going to sight in his cross bow between hunts and let him practice so maybe he can get a hog or a special buck we have on the lease this year.
