Public land that butts up to some private property is always a good bet when the deer start to get pressured, guess where they’re likely to end up. I’d play it low key and wait until the shooting starts and you should be in a good spot.

Well also if the poor guy has all kinds of trespassers then well letting you hunt it then keeps out all others since you will not be letting people cross onto his land. You will be watching it all during hunting season for him. Fair deal if that's what he is up to. Congrats enjoy the season....
