Default Fighting for the Second Amendment

Please take a few minutes from your day and do something to stand up to the gun grabbers. Most of us dont have time in our busy schedules to visit our representatives offices, make phone calls, much less protest on the street. We are busy at our jobs, and enjoying time with family and friends. It is getting tiring reading about new bills introduced daily attacking our rights and freedom.

I would like to suggest signing up for newsletters from organizations fighting to protect these rights to stay informed.
Many of these have "one click politics"
Where a simple form with your name address and email address will automatically send a pre-typed letter to your representatives and legislators.
A quick copy and paste of these letters or links to these websites can be sent to friends and family who are more uninformed on this subject. The copy and paste also work well to send to other government officials that you aren't directly linked to from these sights.
1.NRA
https://www.nraila.org
Although I am very disappointed in the
NRA, and no longer contribute money to them I still use their news to stay informed.

2. GUN OWNERS OF AMERICA
https://gunowners.org
I believe this organization to be the new leader in defending the second amendment. They are working hard also to extend more gun rights as well as fighting for the ones that are being threatened.

3. FIREARMS POLICY COALITION
https://www.firearmspolicy.org
Many one click ways to take action here.

4. NAGR
https://nationalgunrights.org

5. SECOND AMENDMENT FOUNDATION

6. NSSF

THESE ARE JUST A FEW ORGANIZATIONS.
there are many others! Many small local clubs, and groups.

Don't Forget Web Blogs

Also there are many YouTube pages that are spreading the word and fighting the fight.

Forward your findings, and opinions to friends, family, co workers, online friends in forums just like this one.

Join an organization that mirrors your interests and supports the 2nd amendment is the easiest route. They will keep you informed and send alerts when it is time to act! I also left the NRA in the 90's.......remember it like yesterday. I have been deep into SCI for the last 12+ years as my interest is in that arena. They are incredibly pro 2nd amendment minus the constant fear tactics, mailings, emails and drama. I also see alerts when it is time thru my membership in RMEF, Mule Deer Foundation, NWTF, etc. They all support the 2nd! Good post by the way as we must stay vigilante but not frantic.

Default Partial list of gun control bills introduced in the last 2 months

I will start a list of new gun control bills introduced so far in 2019. This is a continuous onslaught, and it's exhausting I know, but we cannot remain. Silent and hope that our elected officials will vote the way that "The People" want. These people are relentless in their efforts.

THESE ARE ALL 2019 INTRODUCED. 2 MONTHS INTO THE YEAR.
Some of these are given warm and fuzzy sounding names, but the wording of them are anything but.
They are full of unconstitutional freedom robbing attacks. Their motive is clear.

This is not a complete list, and this is just On a national level, if you look at each state introducing these bills at an alarming rate and some including red flag laws have already been passed. These include complete gun bans, gun registration, taxes imposed on gun owners, use of tax dollars to fund gun buybacks ect... some propose no private sale of firearms, no transfer of firearms to family in a last will and testament, requiring owners to keep all firearms locked separately from ammunition.

NRA backed the bump stock ban, they have backed red flag laws. They have not actively fought for the hearing protection act. Thankfully they do support concealed carry reciprocit.
They backed the assault weapons ban in 1994.

They need to listen to the people, their members are asking for help and not getting it.

I hope they will change their tune.

G.O.A. has been the leader recently in 2nd amendment preservation.
