Default Team something

With Jason Smart, Todd and SKLOSS out this year we are missing two teams. I was wondering if some of yall want to do some sort of pitch in deal.

I aint got no cooker of any type, but thought maybe some of us could bring something for Saturday and set up a couple tables and awnings. I am open for ideas.

Wait, what?! Smart, Todd, and SKLOSS aren't coming?! Guess I've missed them posting on the bownanza threads. Not sure if Mrs muskles and I are coming yet, but we'd be glad to help out, if we do.

I can get Todd's trailer down there with awnings and cookers... maybe with the limited hands we will have and our wing supplier not coming either, we could do fajitas in Skloss place? Those are a little easier to produce than the wings...

I’d volunteer for a bigger role but am pretty swamped this whole next month with work travel. I still bet we could all pitch in and make the fajitas work though. I bet Radar and Chew will step up

Fajitas sounds good. Or we can all bring different flavor shine and serve it in small cups.

Fajitas would be simple to do. Skloss says 30 pounds of fajita meat works out, I will find out how many tortillas to get.

Gonna move over from Team Fishhead to help keep tradition going

Count me in to help

SKLOSS also brought the cooker for Friday night pavilion party. Need to find someone willing to fill in for this year. I saved some venison bacon for Friday nights gathering.

I agree fajitas are easiest with a skeleton crew. I'll get a comprehensive list together today.

Any leads on where to get the fajita meat? And i say we do some chicken for sure. I'm one of the prefer chicken over beef fajita people!

If interested,

I have a friend with a restaurant and can ask him to buy chicken and beef if needed

How did the team handle the marinade. Night before. Buy it pre-marinaded?

Will get pricing from him when he gets back from a vacation to compare with others that may have source

Hey Shane, with Skloss taking the hiatus this year we could really use your help. We would like to continue to use Kevin’s connection with the supplier for the marinated beef and maybe you can express it for us since you are out that way???

I will contribute $50 for chicken or beef

Was going to suggest I could bring 50 additional jalapenos for roasting and eating them whole. If you want to pick them up when you pick up others that would be great.

We have met previously as I have picked up a couple items from you at house

I think the griddles work better but beggers can’t be choosers at this point Jenn. The bigger the better is all I know.

Let us know when you want to start compiling the shirt size list

I have one large griddle that is 16"x 38" and one that is 18"x18", between the two we should have enough cooking space to take care of the fajitas, tortillas, onions and peppers.

We are now Team Fajita
