the one good thing that came out of Harvey this time. a friend of mine has some land on the Brazos river. the floods that did a number the last two time have in earthed parts of it that has not seen light for 1000 years or more. he lost about 25 acres. found this in the bank side 20 feet from the top. but still 10 feet up from the river. any guess on its true age and what it came from? sorry about the photos. its heavy for its size. almost stone like

this is another reason why man made global warming is a scam. the Brazos has shaped and reshaped its self for 100,000 years. look close at the time line in the layers. wet year and dry are easily seen. the last two floods have left about 1 inch of silt.

Maybe bison? I can't really tell from the size. People still find buffalo skulls in the river banks from time to time.
