I’ve read Spartan is upgrading to a 4G and the 3G won’t work any longer after that. You heard anything on this?

Last day of 2019 I think is when 3G ends. Right now, all the cameras you get from Spartan are gonna be 4G and they are discounted if you already own a 3G. I got around 20% off on a new one.

BTW, there is a complete external setup for the Spartan cams including wiring, battery, solar panel, and battery box. I just googled it and found one. I had mine set up on a 4x4 post in minutes and it's working fine.

Verizon is shutting down it’s 3g service at the end of 2019. I’m told there is no firm word from AT&T on when they will pull the plug on 3g.
