I don't like to hunt in the rain in the Hill Country or West Texas as it is always a mess and hate to tear up the ranch roads. Here in Menard and west, deer don't move well in a rain as we don't get many rainy days. When we do get a rain, they are generally short lived and deer just lay up until it is over.
    Adios,

I dont do it. If you do stick one the bloodtrail will simply wash away. I stuck a coyote in the rain and got down right then and only blood left was dripping off the bottom side of the arrow. No blood left on the ground to follow. Good way to loose the deer you been after all season when you do put an arrow into it.
