.300 blk recoil

I've never owned/shot one and am curious about the recoil. I know it's hard to explain and or compare recoil but would appreciate the attempt. I am entertaining the idea of the ruger american ranch in the .300 blk for a youth/wife rifle.

I'd say 300 is just barely more that 223. It's hardly noticeable.

I've shot 110 gain and 135 grain ammo. Recoil is next to nothing. Closest thing I can compare it to is my .357 lever action. Just a slight push in the shoulder. It has less kick than my 22-250.

Shooting subsonic ammo its much less than a .223 IMO

Light enough you can get 15 shots off on a group of pigs and hit 14 of them. I've seen me do it.

There's not much recoil at all. You can stay in the scope until you're out of bullets.

Next to none... but personally I'd never get a bolt gun in a semi-auto cartridge. You're leaving so much performance on the table when you do that.

My 2 year old boy shot 10 in a row through my suppressed 300blk with subs. All he said when he was done was "again" with a big smile on his face.

I built 1 last year for my daughter and it has no recoil basically. Awesome round for for youth or wife
