    m700 7mag rebarrel to 257wby

Id like to re-barrel a rem m700 7mag to a 257wby. Im really just curious on what this project would need. Any input, advice, suggestions, general knowledge would be great.

any idea on what a decent barrel and install would run?

I havent done my homework on the build but from what i understand the bolt face is the exact same. would just a 257wby barrel plus install be all i would need?

A premium barrels goes for $3-400 and fitting/chambering is going to add another $200-$350. It's also dependent on who does the work.

Yes your M700 has a .532" bolt face which the Weatherby measures also so a simple barrel swap will work.
