1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
1 Tbsp of Kosher salt.
1 Tbsp red chili powder
Juice of 1 lime (minimum)
2 tsp of fresh ground pepper
1Tbsp of ground cumin (minimum, I use a lot)
2 tsp of onion powder
Cilantro, chopped. To taste, I use at least ½ -3/4 of a bunch.
¼ cup of of olive oil
3 tsp of red chili sauce
2-4 minced Chipolte peppers. Usually stores carry this pepper canned in an Adobo sauce. This pepper is not hot but is somewhat spicy.
FRESH tortillas

Trim off excess fat and tenderize meat with a spiked meat hammer.
Mix ingredients together and marinate steak overnight.

Cook on a hot fire, preferably with mesquite or hickory.
Let steak rest for 5-7 minutes after taking off the grill.
Cut 90 degrees to the grain of the steak.
Trying this asap! Thanks for sharing.

Tried the recipe today on some beef fajitas. Turned out fantastic! Was a little salty for the old lady but we both sat there and ate on it a while before putting it in a tortilla. Thanks for the recipe and I highly recommend y'all trying it out.

" best" is a strong term in the food industry. I just cooked this recipe with backstrap, that I butterflied into a trifold to thin it out....

This is THE BEST fajitas I've ever ate, and that's no joke. Awesome!!!

I have had this on my computer for over a year and finally tried it this past weekend.......IT IS THE BOMB!!!!

I used three pounds of Flank Steak and tripled the recipe and thought it would be way too much salt, but it was PERFECT!!!

Its made its way into my recipe folder for life

Agsfight,

Thanks for posting this recipe. We tried it tonight with a twist - we used quail instead of traditional fajita meat. It was pretty danged good. Will use this marinade again in the future!

Marinated overnight:

Made chicken last night for guest. They licked the plate clean... Zero left over I preferred the backstrap and beef over the chicken... But I'm that way anyway.
Still an awesome marinate.
