I was kind of on the fence about heading up the the lease in the Panhandle this weekend simply because it’s hard to justify an 8hr drive by yourself for 4 hunts.
Well, it’s been a rough week at work. 2 guys were sent home, I’d lost my best guy back to his old job last week, and that left me with one really good hand, a brand new guy, and a really good borrowed hand for this morning. By 5:30am everyone except the brand new guy called and said they’re very sick with flu like symptoms. I just did a 5,000mg shot of Vitamin C and will be saying a prayer for the boys. I walked back in and I’m currently packing up to get some north with it. 6 hunts is TOTALLY worth it! I’m also kind of semi quarantining from the wife and kiddos incase we’re all infected with the Chinese AIDS.
Weather doesn’t look awesome and the cameras have been pretty boring but both of those can change at the drop of a hat.
