Kawasaki 4x4 ATV- CV axle work...

Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4 ATV, needs new front joints and boots.

I can find the axle/boot units easy enough, anyone ever do this repair themselves? Any specialty tools required and how long might it take?
I'm pretty handy mechanically so take that in consideration.

Pretty simple to do, just a pain. U can buy a new axle for about 100 bucks. Pull the old one and put the new one and be done.

that's what I did on my prairie several years ago. I wasn't difficult as I recall.

I’m doing my Polaris Ranger right now and it hasn’t been to bad. I’d spray lubricant on any nuts ahead of time so they break loose easier. You can get complete axles on Amazon or EBay cheap. I just bought one delivered to my house for $60. Check any bushings on your a-arms you may have as well.
