I had my limit at granger by noon yesterday...they have moved to 6 ft in the river

Fished from 830 to 10, had 5 keepers, hard to fish with all the boats running up and down the bayou and wind getting up.

Are they still shallow on lake Houston?

Man you ain't kidding. It's been too long since we had one, a year or so atleast. We used to back the boat in by the cooker in the back yard. Pull them out of the live well, filet em, batter em up and drop em in the fryer. Just that quick. Catfish too.

Build your own brush piles and use gps and depthfinder.
