I don't even know what year this one is! I've been trying to narrow it down to a year range. It was free so I can't complain. Previous owner is looking for the title. She couldn't remember what year it was either.

Back in 73 I left one in the bottom of a canyon on my deer lease. only a helicopter could have got it out. it was a dandy lease vehicle

If you can find the VIN, there are decoders out there to get all kinds of neat info about your Scout.

The old Cornbinders are pretty neat.

Hit up the pros at Binder Bulletin, that is the ultimate forum for all things International.

I'm guessing mid 1960's model. I used to have a 1964. your dash is a little fancier.

I tried to buy one just like that.

1966 800A Aristocrat

If that is a V8...its probly a 345, Im guessin. They also had some sort of slant 4. Just a V8 cut in half.

Looks like it has a PTO. Is there a factory winch on the front?

It has a 4 banger. But looks like it sits crooked! The transfer case has two sticks coming out of it. No winch. It did try to start but not enough spark.

That is what mine had. I think it was 84 horsepower (lol). No top end speed, but in 4WD low and granny gear it had tons of torque.

I fixed mine up back in the early eighties and drove it to High School. It was a real chick magnet......not

I had a 68' Scout 800 and it was sweet. I drove all over PINS back then, thing was a beast in the sand, I had both the full top and pickup top. Mine had the v-8 too, I believe it was a 262 c.i. with a 4 spd standard if I remember correctly. Sold it and got a 77 Scout II, and that one had the 345/auto. The 800 was my favorite, wished I could get that one back.
