Swordfish all summer

Finally getting to slow down a bit but man it had been a good summer for the Fishyz Nitemare. We have caught swords on every trip so far this year and we’re not finished yet. Longest fight so far was a little over 5 hours on a 327 lb angry sword. Best trip so far was we went 5 for 5 on one day. My son currently has the pending jr state record swordfish that should be official in the next couple weeks. Here are a few pics from the summer.

Yes all of them are daytime. Right now we are averaging 2-3 a day.

I still have swordfish steaks from the 375 we caught last summer.

Glad to see the Commercial market has been cut back - to let them get into the 5-7% overage factor we are seeing now.

I don't think those NYC & Boston Restaurants will see swordfish steaks on the menu, as we once saw during the 70s and 80s.

They hold in the same spots religiously, and to this, they can be hammered pretty hard.
