I need help to remove the white background from this image and just leave the leaves and pecans. Can anyone help me. I guess GIMP is too complicated for me.

ok so when I save the picture to my desktop and try to paste it onto another image it has a black background. I need a copy with the transparent background so I can paste just the image. Still need help.

You don't want the background removed, you want items cut out of the picture to their own image

Yes I want the image like Eagle1181 has it on the screen. The pecans and leaves only. No background and made into a image I can past onto another page. Can any one help me do that. I would really appreciate it.

start a new project with a blank page, copy the image and post on the page, resize to the size you want, double-click the image, in the upper left click on remove background, adjust the selection, click outside the image to finish

Well, not sure that will work. When you save, may save a white background again.

Should be able to bring in the other image and combine the 2 and then save though.
