for compounds? Most will say super glue, 2 part epoxy and insert iron. I like gold tips super glue and gorilla glue in the gel form. For trad : hot melt I would assume since I do not shot stick bows.

For carbon arrows hot melt is a non-performer. Works well for aluminum arrows though.

I use the Loctite Superglue gel for carbon arrows.

I use epoxy or insert iron. Work great for me. I shoot carbons only.

My compound arrows I lock em down like you. I use the cool melt on carbons for tuning my recurve/longbow.

I have ni problems with wife's glue gun glue. Used it for years on target and hunting arrows. Easy installation and can change by heating the insert only.

The cool melt Ragin is referring to has been great! Holds tight but with just a little heat allows for quick BH tuning!!

Goat Tuff makes an insert glue that is quick setting like the super glues, but it has a compound in it that keeps it somewhat flexible.......I've used it for a couple of years and it works great.

I'm gonna have to find some cool melt. I tried a tiny dot of superglue so I could twist the point and break it loose, and I had one come out in the target.
