So I go to a place order a burger and what ever . Its not like in 20 + years I do not know how many carbs are in this given meal HA HA But I still see many times a spike in my BG .
Sauce .. I have long stopped ordering the X burger instead I ask for the burger without cheese ALL toppings on the side NO sauce . I never eat the bun either just the meat with toppings that I like
A lettuce bun burger is amazing I never thought I would like it until I had one really good and good for you as most of the bread they use is just bad for you

I have been doing it since mid August. I don’t think I stay in Keto sos as I usually hover around 30-50g carbs per day but I rarely if at all cheat. I lost near 20# in sept but seems like I have hit a spot the last week or two with little weight loss. Not sure what the snag was as I was avg about a pound per day for a few weeks.
I am 6’3 and started at about 358, I am at 338-340 right now.
Bread isn’t a huge loss for me and I’m not a big beer or soda drinker so that’s easy. I do like my whole grains like say for breakfast and I like fruit. I also have a sweet tooth so trying to satisfy that urge for those 3 while maintaining ketosis is tough.
I would love to get back down to 290ish but a more realistic and manageable goal is prob 320ish right now.

That’s great! Hang in there. When I was on my strict Keto for 3 months I also got to a spot where I wasn’t dropping any weight. Went on a Keto recommended fast, which really wasn’t a fast. It was meat and butter only for every meal for 3 days. Got pretty tough by day 3 but lost 5lbs and kick started my weight loss again. Just info.

I have been KETOish for 5 months, I lost 30 lbs and eat all I want. Bacon and eggs every morning, steak 3 or 4 times a week. Lots of salad with low carb dressing. I love it so its not really a diet to me. I am off High BP and Tryglicerides meds and sleep like a baby. I do cheat on weekends and have a few bourbons on the rocks. Had my bloodwork done 2 weeks ago and the Doc said that whatever I'm doing is working great.
