    Need good rib rub

It seems like every commercial rib rub I buy is too salty. I recently picked up some Bucc-ees rub, and it was...too salty also! I have tried many different ones with the same result.

Anyone got a rub idea that is NOT SALTY?

I get ticklish when someone rubs my ribs!

              season salt
              Tony C's
              coarse black pepper
              garlic salt

just go easy on the salty parts

Adkins is my rub. Never noticed it be too salty. It's actually called Adkins BBQ rub. My family loves it.

Gordon's grub rub for a little sweetness plus a light coating with salt grass 7. That combination is very good IMO.

Chupacabra rub is on all my BBQ and in my saup. Brought home third place ribs at my last cook off. Not salty at all.

My favorite on ribs is sotx's final table brisquet rub applied over mustard.

Try some of Bill Cannon's Texas BBQ Rub. He is a Houston area CPA that been making his rubs for years. TEXASBBQRUB.COM

I've been using it for 15 years and have never noticed a salt taste. You won't be sorry. Check out his bbq cooking Forum on the website.
