Cool video. There was a great video below that where a great looking double drop buck pulling a Barry Switzer job on a buck already tied up.

If the moc would swallow the rattler and the rattler have enough life to bite the moc from inside we would have a mutual slaying. That would make two good snakes.

It's like the cottonmouth knew to hang on after the bite, as to not get bitten back. Normally it's a strike and let go rather quickly. Cool video.

Someone probably told that rattler "don't worry moccasins are not aggressive at all", that's just a myth.

Poor rattlesnake was just slithering along minding his own business. He saw the CM and went over to say "what's up cuz? We don't see a lot of your type in this neighborhood. Wanna go chase some, ACKK! You bit my head! I can't believe you bit my head!"

Everything about that video sucked. Snakes (venomous) and I bet it stunk there and I think I got 3 mosquito bites just watching it.

One time I killed a rattler under our pier at the ranch. I always cut their head off so that nobody ever gets bit looking at them. I tossed the head into the tank not thinking about it. The next morning one of our 10 lb channel cats was on the bank. I cut it open and you know what was in his gut. Wonder how things react to eating venomous snakes. Like pigs coyotes etc.

rattle snakes eat mostly warm blooded prey. Cotton Mouths will eat just about anything, frogs, fish, rodents, and other snakes.

It was a very young rattlesnake.

You can train a cotton mouth not to bite you, but then the 1st chance they get they'll hang a fang into you so dastardly you'd never see it coming.

My shovel and 12 gauge can train them not to bite me too. They won't get that 1st chance to bite after I'm finished training them!
