Default What bow do you guys use, and how would you rate it.

What do you guys use? Love to hear peoples opinions on gear.

Personally I had an old pse pacer, wood limbed wheel bow, and finally upgraded to a Cabela's regulator. Love the thing. Especially since Cabela's replaced the limbs and string for free. Things a shooter!

Bowtech admiral. No complaints and it's on its 6th year

Wouldn't mind upgrading to a destroyer

This is going to be fun post. All bows have there pro and cons. I've shot browning, proline, bowtech, and Mathews. In that order. They have gotten better each time. Waiting on my Apa to arrive this week I hope.

I've heard great things about Hoyt. My regulator fell out of our SUV on opening weekend and it cracked a limb. I thought it was trash but Cabela's replaced everything for free and set it up for me. Hell shoots way better now. I'm actually thinking about getting me a crossbow now.

Shooting a Bowtech Prodigy currently. Spending some time today bare shaft tuning, we'll see how it rates when I'm all done. So far I am really liking it though.

Mathews DXT primary, Mathews Outback backup. No complaints w/either of them--shoot same arrows with dirt-nap results. And, the best thing is I paid less for the two of them with sights, quivers, and stabilizers than one new bow!

Love it! Easy to shoot and makes me more accurate!

Thinking about hitting Muddyfuzzy up for some high FOC arrows after season. Curious how it will perform with those.

Mathews chill R with the 85% mods, great bow smooth draw, very quiet and plenty fast, but if I had to do it all over i would get something a little more forgiving. If my form is off it shows, not terribly bad but it does show u quickly. In the long run it will probably make me a better shooter bc I know I have to focus on my form. I do not plain on getting rid of it any time soon.

Hoyt vector turbo. Love it. It holds great for me and the weight is very negligible in terms of overall mass with accessories. The only "negative" for me is there is a slight twang after the shot but it shoots lights out. With that being said, thinking of getting a new bow next year and seriously considering a New Breed Eclipse or the Elite Impulse. decisions decisions

I change bows just about every year.

The best bow I've ever owned was the mathews z7, bowtech allegiance, mathews heli-m and hoyt razortec probably in that order.

If in my mind the z7 was 10 then I'd rate my current bow the no cam HTR as an 8.0. I'm shooting four or five bow brands over the next few weeks to see if a brand change is due . . . .

As long as my Switchback XT keeps killing things and I don't win the lottery, I'm not forking over $1,000+ for another bow.

Old School here. 2009 High Country Speed Pro. Shoots better than I can and it is paid for so why should i look for a way, way more expensive bow. 560 grains arrow @ 70#s with a 29" draw at 270 fps, quick enough for me!

Well. ....

2008 elite gto with xxl cams. M6 favorite bow in my arsenal. It's smooth and very fast. Feels identical to its big brother (also in my arsenal ) because they both use the same riser.

2008.5 elite gt500. Excellent shooting bow. Very fast also, not quite as fast as the gto but fast, draw is a little more harsh. Good handling bow at 35 ata

New breed cyborg type-r (frankenbow ) I threw elite Rev cams on this bad boy and it went to 90lb and speed is out of this world. It shots exceptionally for having 95% letoff
