That's ****ty man, I don't know why people can't leave other people's stuff alone.

I know how you feel, I was sick to my stomach last year when I walked up to see my camera gone and blind knocked down.

Hope you get squared away soon.

I have an extra bucket feeder you can have everything works. I have to go get it from the ranch on Sunday. After Sunday you can pick it up from me any day. I live in Georgetown and work at Mac Haik Ford.

Dang Colin! I literally just pulled in from ranch and would have brought you a feeder. I keep a hot spare on hand just to save time.

Thanks guys for all the kind gestures, Im remaining on my spot that I've been on for three years and wouldn't want it to happen to your stuff. Got paid today so I'll just buy a cheap bucket feeder from academy. Thanks again y'all. Can't wait to get this season started, really excited.

I'm not letting you borrow. You can have it it's it's if you want free. I have no use for it. I also have a 55gl plastic feeder with reinforced legs no motor if anyone one needs one. It's a cheap Walmart feeder but it works. FREE

Well in that case I'll holler at you. Appreciate it. I'm about to go into work where I can't use my phone and might be working until 2 AM. I work at Williamson County juvenile detention so phones are prohibited. But I might be able to get on the green screen LOL, if you can PM me your number I'll get in touch with you tomorrow thanks again

Pics from my trail cam. First thing I noticed when I got to the feeder, the battery side compartment was open and ground wire unplugged.

Pics revealed the culprit. Racoon. First time I ever seen a racoon at Lake Georgetown

I had them 2 years ago at my spot at Walnut Creek, but haven't seen any signs this year. I moved slightly and nada. I can hear them.

One of my sisters just moved to Georgetown in a neighborhood that backs up to the lake. We saw a ton of deer this weekend, mostly does and small bucks but did come across this trophy 11 point yesterday morning.

Also, saw a doe standing on her back legs eating muscadine. Grapes will be long gone by the season but if you can find some in your hunting area they will eat the vines too!

Found a feeder just north of me in 15E they are setup about 20 feet off the fence line from private lands. Its in the wide open and a house not too far from that fence too.

So I was under the assumption that if you kill a mature doe that you get to hunt the following year, but if you also killed a buck that voided the following years hunt. What is the rule?

One mature doe exempts you from the following years draw. Killing a buck or more does has no effect on your exemption after that.

You still have to go through the application process though.

No void with a buck ... but the mature doe will exempt. No orientation and no draw.

Default Why should I try hunting?

Hunting is about much more than killing animals. Itís spending time in their environment and intensively learning about wildlife through observation. You will experience nature on a deeper level when hunting, and probably come away with a greater appreciation for the animals youíre hunting.

Gonna take my qualifier at archery country tomorrow or Friday.

Went by there today to get my peep sight fixed.

I was there 10 minutes and it was fixed. I asked how much and they said no charge.

Awesome guys at Archery Country.

I can't make it, have family in from PA. I got a busy road coming up.. I'm buying a new bow next week, will have to dial it in and get qualified. Need to get my new license, pay my permit and pick it up.

Busy busy busy, but the camera shows it's worth it.

But your papers are due which includes your test score and other fees so you still have to show up just not stay for the meeting. Thats how they know how many stan by spots to draw.

The way the letter reads seems like at minimum you would need to check in between 9-9:15 unless you're letting stated different for exemptions.

Don't want anyone to get confused.

Exempt dont need to attend orientation and have until Sept 1 to get permit. If not picked up by then, the spot will be released to the next waiting on the standby list generated at orientation.

Non-exempt must attend or make arrangements otherwise or your spot will be put up for immediate drawing.

Standby must attend and if won, will have till Sept 1 to get permit. (Pay fee, pass IBO, etc)

Please notice the difference between exempt and non-exempt.... there always seems to be someone every year who is not sure and screws up their spot.
