Default So I went with the Canon 100-400L IS - first trip out

Here are my first couple of experiences with the new lens.

Minimizing camera shake, and as quick a shutter speed as possible (with the light available) is the best place to start. Folks that are more proficient than myself could probably elaborate more.

Brian he is starting with a very good lens. As he said the faster shutter speed helps also.
