Help. Dug This Out Of a Deer

Shot an 8 Point Buck in Edwards County last week. Been on Ice and I started my own processing this morning. Found this metallic item imbedded in the Back-Strap. No numbers. Any Ideas? Deer Tracker? Aliens?

Very small. No Markings.

Perfectly smooth. Nothing looks broke. Looks like it was made like this.

No scaring around where I found it. Was about 1/2 inch imbedded in the top of the back-Strap.

Could be a tracker but I don’t see any black suburbans with men standing out in front wearing dark glasses talking into the cufflinks just yet. LOL

Don't remember the make or model but they used to make a .22 cal rifle that used a plastic encased white powder as propellant that shot a pellet very similar to that. Other than that idk!
