Pretty sure it's an infantile dragon who lost its mother prematurely, and never fully developed. I read about them all the time in epic fantasy novels, and this is a rather common find for collectors, as very few dragons reach maturity due to predation from humans and competition from other adult males.

It had sockets on the side for a femur so that told me it was a pelvis. The hollow bone structure told me it was a bird. It was freaking huge so that told me ostrich. Lo!
