Gun safe ?

Any input on Liberty Fatboy Jr. Safe. Cabela's running a cyber sale and thinking of picking one up.

if you have 30 long guns, better buy a 60 gun safe (twice your current inventory)

UPSIZE your safe. If you think 30 -- Buy bigger one.
Hindsight is always "I should have got the bigger one". They fill up fast and usually we all have some type of shelf or something in there that takes away from them total count of guns you get in it.
If you can afford and plan for it, get the bigger safe size than you think you need.

I have that exact safe. Quality seems to be very good. With the shelves in it on one side it holds 10-12 long guns but they are in there tight.

Have one also, and its a very good safe for the money. However as said, plan for more room than you think you will need. If you have the room, you might consider a second safe in lieu of a larger one. Although the fat boy jr. has a S&G lock, you never know when a lock might fail.

I've got a 24 gun liberty safe now that will mainly become a paper document, jewelry, accessories safe. The Fatboy jr will be pistols and long guns. As is now after inheriting some father in law guns I will still have 2 rows on one side open and not in market for more long guns

I went to three different academy's last week and they had them stacked everywhere in the stores I visited. In Pasadena , humble and Lufkin.

Haha exactly. I've got a liberty fatboy 64. HUGE quality difference. But 4x+ the price. The fatboy Jr is a great safe. And that's a good deal. I saw it yesterday. If it fits your needs I wouldn't hesitate.
