ANybody eat blackbuck?

GOt a buddy with some blackbuck on it and was tempted to shot one today. Are they good eating? If so what do you have made, sausage, grind or cuts.

yep, its good! I think I would place it between whitetail and axis. backstraps, steak out the hind quarters, grind the front shoulders. dont ruin it by makin sausage.

Yeh blackbuck is good eating. I take the hind quarters and slow cook em on the pit and they taste great.

ubetchem that's some fine vittles.. don't waste it by making sasuage... use the scraps for ground meat... the rest is to good...

yep gooooood. I made some fried backstrap steaks a few weeks ago. there was no gamey taste whatsoever.
