David, I will be going mid September to Yellowstone. What lens did you use primarily with these great pictures you took? I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of wildlife. Were a lot of these around Lamar Valley or just everywhere? I hear Lamar Valley is a place I need to go for sure. Never been so very much looking forward to it but need advice. Again, great pictures

Sorry I missed these questions. The lens was a Tamron 150-600mm. We tried to hit all areas of the park, but probably spent most of our time on the north end. We weren't as interested in the geothermal features, so spent less time on the south end. I know you've already taken your trip now. Sorry I missed the questions before.

You won't regret it ! Take in Rocky Mt. Nat. Park also. Not as big, but we saw more wildlife there last summer than in Yellowstone. My avatar pic is from Yellowstone.

Thanks for the link, this is a near future excursion. I just added a new camera body and I have a few more lenses on my "yet to purchase" list.
