Just had one right in front of me and I didnít. Just seeing what the consensus is?

Not saying I got anything against it. The way my luck is going my broadhead would cut the beard off. They do reproduce and I’m thinking the law is there to help out a hunter who doesn’t know the difference. This old bag had a beard to make a lot of Toms jealous though!

Exactly. I used to kill two hens almost every fall and save two tags for spring. Never noticed any drop in the turkey population except in drought years. You canít stockpile game animals on free range.

Like Gary said, yes if legal. Not legal over here though. Taste better than a gobbler IMO.

I am pretty sure I would if the situation was right. I passed one up because I was hearing gobbling all morning and was holding out.

I've shot a couple in Missouri. Not as much fun. As a hot gobbler but they filled tags.

I killed one with my bow years ago! Thought it was pretty cool! I've seen another one since then and gave her a pass!

Yes. I’ve seen a few in large groups in the Fall but always lose track of which one is bearded before I can draw undetected.

After 2 unsuccessful years turkey hunting with my longbow, better fire up the smoker if a bearded hen walks by me.....
