Hitting the road with my seven year old in the AM and hunting through Sunday. conditions, both range and weather, look perfect. With rut sounding a bit early this year, I also think it should be peaking. We have leases in Baird and west of Moran, will post rut and movement updates. Good luck to everybody.

I haven’t had a single doe in bow range the entire season. Now this morning I have 9.... they must know I don’t plan to shoot a doe today...

South Coleman County near Rockwood. Got a nice 9pt yesterday morning. Expected to see lots of movement this morning with the cold front moving in but it’s windy and didn’t see much this morning. Was surprised to see a young 8pt walk by my camper a few minutes ago (11:30am) looks to be heading towards one of the feeders.
