    Tennis elbow?

I think I’m getting tennis elbow from shooting my bow. Never had an issue last year and I shot a lot. It’s been bugging me for about 3 weeks. Not overly painful but sore. Soreness is worse when I extend my arm all the way out.

Anyone have an idea of a remedy?

Get you an elbow strap and put it on the meaty part of your forearm. Wear it religiously and no "shower activities".

Does your tendon pop out of place?

Go to your orthopedic guy and get a shot. Just got my 2nd one 3 weeks ago and still feel good. Now, if the tendon's are in really bad shape, the shots will only delay the surgery. How do I know, because I had a 3 shot series on the other elbow several years ago, then had to have it fixed.

I’m going through the same thing now. Go see your doctor.

I’ve been going to a physical therapist for a few weeks and it’s starting to get better.

She has been doing massages, ultrasound and something similar to acupuncture. She also has me doing some exercises and stretches.

I get it a lot. I usually have to take anti inflammatory meds and STOP using it for a couple of days. Usually if I put it in a sling for a day, it'll make a huge difference. Also, try and sleep with your arm straight.

Have fun. Just when it heals up you will get it in the other elbow.

What type of release, if any, are you using?

Using a wrist strap truball fang. I hope maybe it’s a strain from drawing my bow back with my wrist turned and not straight. I shot hundreds of arrows last year and never an issue. Changed my form some a month ago and think that I’m drawing back different and didn’t realize it
