We have a new fella hanging around, no history with this deer, but I hope he hangs around... Ks deer.

Also pretty disappointed in this buck as he was an absolute stud last year as a 4 yr old. Not sure what happened, sickness maybe?

He is the only one we aren't real happy with. Also have 6-8 clean 10's in the 150" range. Should be an interesting season

the older buck may have just got run down from rutting hard as a 4 year old. He will likely bounce back next year if you give him time.

Wow, that new buck!! The 2nd buck kind of looks like he was grazed across his back with a shot. Definitely something happened to him. Hope he pulls through and comes back strong next year for yall.

That's definitely possible, but it wasn't from any of us on the lease. Land owner said he saw him in February and still looked healthy, who knows.

I think he is sick, but also older than you thought. Maybe 6.5, let him walk and see what he does next year.

If you are off on age, I only think you would be off 1 year, as in he is a year older than you thought. But either of those guesses are viable options. Hope he's just sick and pulls out of it. How is EHD where yall hunt?

Haven't seen any effects of EHD but heard of a few cases within 150 miles of us
