Red face Hey Bisch!...IBO thread please?

Can you show and tell us your Trad IBO adventure in a thread?

Pretty please.

If not...good luck anyhow.

Default Hey Bisch!...IBO thread please?

We are on the way home now. I shot very well for me today, and my combined score ended up tied for 2nd in the Trad Hunter class (I got 3rd place because I had 2 less 11ís than the other guy). In that class, you must shoot arrows that are at least 10gpp.

Default Hey Bisch!...IBO thread please?

Rusty did very well, as usual. He ended up 3rd in the IBO in Selfbow. He won the Selfbow and Sr Longbow classes in the Hunter Challenge.

I did ok in the Hunter Challenge, but just could not get enough to place in any class. I ended up 4th in the Trad Hunter class and tied for 4th (but officially 6th because I had less 11ís than the other 2 guys) in the Modern Longbow class of the Hunter Challenge.

It was a fun shoot with some very tough courses. In three tries, this is the first time I have managed to place in the IBO World part of the shoot!

With the strong showing from Texas, they should consider moving the shoot down here or at least somewhere more centrally located.

Is there a minimum poundage in this class? I'd heard the arrow minimum must be 450 grains but was wondering if there was actually a minimum weight.

No minimum poundage. Arrow must be 450gr, even if your draw weight is under 45#.

They tried that a few years back. They had the IBO Mid America shoot in Texas for 3 yrs, and just couldnít get enough participation to justify having it here.

It moves around every few years. Itís been in TN and IN in the past. I think it will move next year, but not sure where it will end up.
