We leave tomorrow but I wanted to start this thread cause it might take my Mom a couple days to find it...lol. Hi Mom! 
There are four hunters...James (my brother), Richie, and Paul. We all have elk tags and three of us have bear tags. We are in an OTC unit on the Western Slope hunting NF land. I have on good authority that we should hit the rut just about right. There are lots of elk where we are hunting and should have a decent chance at a bear too. We have many wallows and water holes to sit at...some even with tree stands for when they are not bugling.
We leave early in the morning and should get to our cabin Sunday morning and be hunting by Sunday afternoon. We are hunting til the next Sunday. We should have fair cell coverage there but don't know for sure. Hopefully its at least good enough for texting. I have proxies lined up in case I can't post via tapatalk.
If you don't mind please pray we have a safe road trip. I will try and give lots of updates . Thanks for following along!!
