This is simple but really good. When you’re frying an egg, put a ring from a large onion on the griddle first. Break the egg inside it.
The edges cook the same as the middle, it’s round (pretty much) and the little bit of fried onion tastes great. My daughter’s boyfriend got me hooked on sprinkling Old Bay seafood seasoning on my eggs- great taste instead of salt and pepper. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I eat a lot of eggs. I'm trying this tonight. My wife implemented "feed your own face Fridays" about 2 years ago and it got out of hand. Now its fend for yourself 90% of the time.

I like scrambled eggs with fine diced bell pepper and your pick of season. Something about the green color and some crisp works good with bell peppers

Ill do the same but sometimes I’ll cut a hole in a piece of bread and toast it in the pan then crack an egg in it. Good stuff! I’m gonna have to try the old bay.

Hahaha, my mom used to call it "anything night" when I was a kid. We had "anything night" a couple times a week, where your supper was anything you could find because she didn't feel like cooking!

When my mom was working and it was up to my dad to cook for us, he called it "Pick a can night", if he could microwave it we could eat it.

Been making eggs in a basket forever but never thought to put the egg in an onion. Guess I know what’s for breakfast tomorrow. Probably chop up a jalapeño and throw that in there too.

Due to high blood pressure I had to cut back on salt several years ago. Fried eggs just didn't taste right all by their lonesome self so I started to experiment. Settled on picante sauce to give them something extra. Can't eat fried eggs anyway else now. Fry 'em then smother 'em in picante sauce. Gonna have to try 'em in the onion ring then smother 'em.
Gonna have to try the avocado method also. Covered in picante because that's how I eat avocados too. Fill up the seed hole in a fresh fruit with picante then dig in! Last edited by locolobo; 02-20-2020 at 10:50 AM. |
