Axis Ground Meat?

Do y’all mix your axis with beef or pork or just keep it straight axis.

I put a little beef fat in mine.

This... easy enough to mix it after for whatever you're making.

I don’t add any beef or pork to any of my ground meat, I like my wild game pure with no added fat or meat. If I do mix it’s cause I have a little bit of several animals I killed through the year.

If making burgers and I feel I want to add fat, I’ll put a little bit of butter on top while it’s on the grill.

I did 5% beef fat in mine and it's came out just right. I asked the same question you are a few months back. Some add bacon ends, beef fat, nothing.... lots of good answers. Try something and adjust as necessary!! Good luck

I add 10% beef fat and I think it’s perfect.

I have 10% BACON ground into mine. Axis doesn't need bacon to taste good, obviously. But it dang sure makes it even better. Once you do the bacon deal, you won't do anything else.

I don't mix any deer with beef or pork, if I wanted beef or pork, I would get that out of the freezer....lol
