    Finatic flings an arrow

I've spent a lot of time in the stand this season so far with my eye on a nice 8 with tall tines and a dandy of a 10 point. Unfortunately they will not come within 100 yards of my set up. They have been working a tree line and don't even lift their head when the feeder goes off. So I made some set up changes and it looks like it willl pay off. Anyway, Sunday evening I never saw the buck I was looking for but the action was much greater in the new set up. I just couldn't help myself anymore and took out a spooky doe that kept busting me.

It was a hard quartering away shot and I hit her a little too far back but that didn't stop the Slick Trick from crashing though the ribs, destroying her lungs and then it decided it wanted some of the front shoulder as well. Her shoulder looked like she was shot with a rifle. Don't worry, though, the Slick Trick it doing fine and is still in perfect shape. The doe made it 40 yards......no track needed, fell within sight.

Nevous blowing does must be removed before the next step can continue. Now it's time to get on with bidness!
