I was blessed Wednesday morning with this nice buck. He came in on the trail of a doe that had came in about 10 minutes earlier. I took a look thru the binoculars and saw ten points and decided he was good enough to shoot. He came right in to 23 yards and stopped broad side. I wasted no time taking the shot because his lady friend was already exiting the scene. The shot with the one hundred grain Thunderhead was perfect and I saw him go down about 6o yards out. I was thinking he was a big ten I had on camera but it turns out he was a bonus buck that I did not know existed. He is not as big as two bucks I have been chasing but he is a nice buck and you never know what might show up on any given hunt. It turns out he was on my camera at a feeder about 500 yards away just hours before this encounter. Good luck to everyone and God Speed!!! P.S. Retirement is Awesome!!!!!
