Default Quarantine Fun - Guess what this is

Alrighty Yíall, time for some fun. I have no clue what this meat is and at this point Iím kinda scared. It was donated to local food pantry and they gave some of it to the volunteers.

It came in a ten pound vacuum sealed bag, somewhat pre seasoned. I cooked up a little and it was very tender but really didnít taste like your typical beef. Itís a bunch of weird shapes and doesnít appear to be cut.

EDITó-> I shouldíve said that it did not taste good, not like the meat had gone bad, but just weird and left a bad aftertaste.

Time for the pictures you all have been waiting for.....

Looks like maybe shoulder meat from some animals that definitely are not cows. Enjoy!

I’m sure we could collectively scrounge up some meat if your low.

I often image this is how the meat from anyone who ever shot an aoudad ends up.

Thanks.

I mean, if weíre already quarantined might as well go all out, mom didnít raise me to be a wuss.

It was donated by an Italian restaurant. So either the italian mafia is getting creative at dumping evidence or itís totally legit. Either way I still have no clue what it was and it wasnít very good.

Oh and I did get it pretty hot when I cooked it so hopefully Iíll make it.

One of the cuts looks like a hind quarter or something.
Put it on the smoker for a while. It will taste good.
