Home defense rounds are going to be more expensive than ball ammo each of course. In the past I have bought a box or two of it. Shot several to make sure it runs and shoots well....and then put the rest in the safe after filling the carry mag. Can't remember what I paid, but do remember it was more expensive than ball ammo even as a 25 pack. These dang regulations, lawsuits, taxes and cost of raw materials have driven them up even at normal retail

Not too far off though. I paid $18-22/20 before this. Fortunately a company put 50 round boxes of this stuff on sale for $20 and I got 300 rounds of it haha. It’s a fair price for great ammo these days. I usually carry hornady 135 critical duty and can’t find anymore. I gotta quit shooting wounded pigs and crap with em lol
