    DSLR at MLB Game (Astros)

Headed to the Astros game tomorrow. Has anyone attempted to bring a zoom lens with them? Website says cameras Are allowed as long as the lens isn't longer than 8". My 70-200 is right at 8" in length without the hood.

Can't decide if I want to bring it or not. Wouldn't want to have to leave it in the truck for someone to steal.

Havent a clue about your camera but enjoy the game. I'll be there on Tuesday to watch my Cubbies.

I’d imagine you would be ok but then again I’ve never tried it. . .

I carried one in a few years ago. You'll be right at the limit so it could go either way.

What did you do? How'd it go?

Decided to leave it at home. Had enough trouble balancing food/beverages/ice cream without having to worry about a DSLR strapped around my neck! lol

I owned a Sony RX10 IV for a while and the lens went to 600mm (220 on 1" sensor) but looked like a regular point and shoot. Got this last year on a walk-off against the Bluejays.
