    Diesel smell in cooler

I didn't want to highjack the other thread on a yeti with dead pig smell , but I have a ice chest someone put diesel in (????) . I have washed it out , left it open outside for several weeks and can't get the diesel smell out. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do it ?

Maybe if you throw up in it, it won’t smell like diesel.

Are you sure it wasn’t his cooler he sold off to you? There were lots of methods given in that thread!

Toss it. Got diesel on my hands and went in for a beer and never could get the smell out of that cooler. Just threw it away and got a new one.
