One of my goals this year is to shoot more than I ever have. I want to start shooting ASA as well, how do the shoots work? I've shot a few CCBA club shoots in the ASA format but do I just show up, pay my entry and shoot?

Yes, you just show up, pay, and shoot. You'll need to be a paid ASA member before the state tournament , Pro/Ams or buckle shoots. Make sure you know your category, rules, and equipment. Welcome to ASA!
