    Cold Front Doe

I managed to skip out and take advantage of the cooler temps. I was skeptical walking in this morning as the wind was blowing @ solid 15kts and the woods were loud. It turned out to be a fun meat hunt.

It didn't take long for a doe to show up 55yds away with the find direction in my favor. She grazed on a small hand corn pile @ 30yds, but never turned to provide a good shot...she was straight at me and quartering to. She continued walking left-right passing right under the tall oak tree I was sitting in.

Fortunately she stopped at another hand corn pile @ 20yards quartering away. Even though she was now directly downwind, she kept her head down the whole time. Things lined up and I let the arrow fly. It was a clean pass through taking out one lung and heart. I heard her crash out in the trees 40yds away.
