I didn’t even think about the beans lol, mama usually cooks beans also but she doesn’t like beans with Gorditas...

I'd be all over that if I wasn't on a diet...especially in this weather!! Looks fantastic.

Mrs Artos picked up tacos from Laredo Taco co & just ate the inside, dogs got the tort.

Mama makes the coffee, she makes 2 of them whichever comes out better she gets that one and i get the leftover one lol.

Can you explain the difference between a Veracruzano style tamale and a typical Tex Mex style tamale?

From a diff region. Larger (sometimes) and has a banana/plantain leaf for the husk. One of each in the pic.
