Dinner tonight courtesy of the north country. Moose sirloin from New Foundland. Rockfish and halibut from my recent trip to Alaska. Some skillet potatoes and asparagus all done on the grill. Pretty dang good and it was nice to be home for junior’s baseball game. Beautiful night here in the panhandle.

Yes, I grew up in San Antonio and couldn’t sit outside with sweating much of the year. Panhandle evenings in the summer are great. For me the people and the professional opportunities here have been unbeatable.

Trust me, I know! I had the wife and one of her girlfriends over. They don’t like it too rare. I saved a rare one for me. I did leave them on the top rack of the grill while the girls friends some fish inside and they got a little more done.
