After 4 years of not being able to connect on a deer with my bow I finally got it done tonight. I hunt public land and while I see deer most are to young or just never give a shot or I miss lol. In the last 4 years I’ve put at least 400 hours in sitting in a pop up or Tripod on public land. This year my buddy Jason.Dickens on here allowed me to go out to his place and shoot a doe. The last weekends I was unsuccessful missed a doe the first weekend and last weekend no matter where I set they were catching my scent and not coming in. Today had a perfect wind for the tripod they have set up. At 4:54 the feeder went off and at 5:08 had 3 doe come in. I waited a for a good broadside shot before I drew and when the time came I drew back and let the grim reaper fly. Perfect double lung pass through and 60 yards later had a nice doe on the ground. Feels good to finally connect again with the bow. Jason, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to hunt your place. I owe you a steak dinner
