I know it's not going to beat out some of these other entries, but this was from Memorial Day weekend on the Bolivar peninsula, and was just too cool not to post

All the lightning shots are awesome. Definitely chasing to catch that light. Great job! And I always love a good sunrise or sunset. Really nice.

The photo that, to me, hits what I was looking for the best by capturing the contrast of light and shadow in a pretty scene with good composition is the one by Antlers86. The road leads your eye into the photo and into the light. Then you find the starbursted sun peaking through the trees. Great shot!

To me, all it needs is just a little tweaking in the processing to accentuate the light and color a bit more. But just a great shot. Congrats on the win!
