What will he do next year?

Had this deer on camera but hadn't seen him in person until tonight. Realized why he's messed up now, pretty bad injury to his back leg, it looks like. Too bad, because the other side looks like he might have been a pretty good deer. Chances he can still breed?

He can probably still breed, if only his leg is affected, but his antler configuration is probably permanent.. They sure are some tough critters!
